and i've found out it's been a long time since I've read out loud, as I'm trying to read Watership Down and yet i am having trouble seeing the words. it's like they keep jumping across the page and it's weird.
but dlskfj i'll just have to read the Giver on Monday when I head back to school. -
Huuh, brother has that issue with the words. He uses glasses when he reads @.@
I see. -
I was actually thinking about grabbing my glasses right now x3
it's an odd book so far -
I hardly remember reading "The Giver" in middle school. It was so boring. :/
-
Aha x3 might be a good idea~
Giver or watership down? :0 -
I've heard it is, but it's for Honors :/
Well, I've tried both pairs on, and I've noticed that I just can't read out loud. I read better when I just, read xD It's easier to see somehow idk.
The Giver. It reminds me a lot of 'Anthem' by Ayn Rand, but just not as strict. Watership Down is very interesting. (Rabbits/bunny's are my favorite animals) -
Yahh, I actually find that it is easier to read like that too. x3
Ohh, I see now. AH, I've read watership down before. (Woaah, no way :0) -
Why bother reading a boring book, when you could read "classic" literature? Like "Of Mice and Men"? Now that's a decent book I would recommend.
-
I think my own voice distracts me xD
The thing is, I was told to read Watership Down a long time ago, but I never had. I never even knew what it was about until I read another book that had mentioned it various times. I always thought it was about a boy and a girl, trapped on a boat for some reason, but when I heard it was about Rabbits I was really confused x3 (yee xD) -
Bleh.
-
Haha x3
Haha, boy and a girl on a boat? Lel. I'm pretty sure I read it when I was younger :0 (I never would have guessed)
Sg: of mice and men is also a decent band ;3
