I take it that it wasn't that hard to do, was it? -

Actually the 'carving' part was simple enough
i traced out all the lines my cutting small lines with a small knife
then i traced the correct lines with sharpie
next, i cut out the mouth and eyes. (not including the pupils.)
I then colored in the eye brows and pupils with sharpie, outlining the eyes and mouth.
but before all of this, though, i drew what i wanted to put on the pumpkin on a piece of paper. -
the point of cutting out the eyes and mouth is so that the glow of the light will shine on the other details, making them visible even at night.

Oh. Well I thought it wouldn't be hard because one time, I had bet someone 20 dollars that I could carve a block of wood in a mlp face. I had to do Queen Chrysalis and I thought "well, she is an ugly pony so that is the easy part"
And so I did and man, was that an ugly piece of wood. I had gotten my friend's violent rott weiler to chew all over the wood block and it was ugly. My theory was that: Ugly pony=ugly wood block.
But that wasn't counted... -
haha, yeah. Wood and a pumpkin are two different things.

Queen Chrysalis is an attractive pony in some ways.
Not saying she has the fairest face or the most horrid of all, but it doesn't have too much detail as any of the other ponies.
