Aww. I like helping out the elderly. Some of them are a hoot, I tell ya! Some are sometimes really weak (as in that they are too sick) and I knew one of them who died. But that person was a very sweet person. She would treat anyone who visisted her (family or not) as if they were her own grandchildren. But she passed away...
But enough of melancholy. She is probably resting in peace and she doesn't have to suffer anymore.

I like the elderly people. They can be really fun and mischievous (in a good way) and I wish they could stay frozen like that forever or for the rest of eternity, at least.
One time, I took some cheesecake and some Fannie May chocolates called Pixies ( I wish I could show you a picture of them) and I was talking to that same person who passed away. I went to a different room to visit/help a different person and when I came back, I had 5 chocolates left (and I had 20 chocolates total before). I was like "where'd my chocolate go?" and then that woman grinned widely and she had chocolate/caramel all over her teeth.
My left eye started twitching (not a spasm) and that woman was like "Your reaction was soooooo comical! Ha! I feel like I can dance tango with a flamingo!"
It was then and there that I started laughing. Those were good memories... -
