There's a rumour that 1D are going to perform at the 2016 Super Bowl, but there's a catch. The rumour states that it may be their farewell show, and that scares me. -
I doubt it would be their farewell show.

They promised that they're not breaking up, but it's official that they're taking a break starting in March of next year. No one knows how long it's going to be.

You know, they can break up after their contract ends, and it ends in October. They can break up after OTRAT ends and Made In The A.M. is released.

The contract states that they have to release five albums, go on five tours, and be together for at least five years, and they're free. They can choose to keep going on after that, but I doubt it. They went on the Up All Night, Take Me Home, Where We Are, On The Road Again, and a tour before the Up All Night tour. Made In The A.M. is going to be their fifth album.
