Today is a great man's birthday. He was the lead singer of a great band who was born September 5 1946, in Stone Town, Sultanate of Zanzibar (now Tanzania), and died November 24, 1991 in Kensington, London, England at the age of 45 as a result of bronchopneumonia (brought on by AIDS). He sang, played Keyboard, piano and guitar for the band he was in. He has been voted one of the greatest singers in the history of popular music.
Does any of you know who this man was or the band he was in? Just think and you should know, Don't try so hard, don't stop me now, friends will be friends. -
