To make a long story short, on Monday, the people in my Forensic class were teasing me and calling me "fag" etcetc. The teacher wasn't in the room. I left the classroom in tears and hid in the bathroom for the rest of the class.
Well, somehow my Forensic Teacher, Mrs.Lynn, found out about it all. She was not happy. So when class started today she got out this big poster that said "I am an LGBTQ+ Ally" and wrote her name on it and put it on the wall. She said that if she ever hears one of her students calling another names, or teasing/bullying them, she's sending them to the office and requesting they get switched out of her class. Then she was like: "I support LGBTQ+ people. My daughter is gay, and married to a woman and they have two beautiful children. If you have a problem with that, fine, that's your opinion. But that doesn't give you the right to be discriminatory, so don't be, otherwise you can stand up and get out of my classroom right now."
I litterally just sat there stunned. The whole class was dead quiet, you could've heard a pin drop. Then these two girls asked to be in a group with me. ;;
After class Mrs.Lynn said if I have any problems at all to go to her and she'd take care of it. I almost started crying, and I hugged her. -
How kind of her. You must be very lucky to have a teacher like her, who understands and respects you like that. Very touching :-)
