  Someone else on the website I use for anime (KissAnime) theorized that Charlotte is a comet. The comet appears every set number of years, and when it does, stuff happens.
  If you couldn't tell, I forget what it says... ^-^' I'll see if I can find it tomorrow to show you.
  
  I don't know if you've ever seen Angel Beats, but that was kind of a tribute to that, since Charlotte and Angel Beats were made by the same people. There is a glasses-wearing character in Angel Beats who is buff under his uniform. Fun fact, I guess. XD

  That would make sence. Also more Forshadowing with the comet thing. Its in the opening plus Ayumi (I think thats her name) Really liked loking up at the stars before bed every night.
