[inserts disappointment with some people in the LGBTQ+ plus because whoever said that is in the LGTBQ community and they're in my school]
Um, no. I'm mean sure, if it's someone that's creating an opposition towards transgendered person or isn't well educated or connected or researched about the LGBTQ+ community and especially transgendered people. That's NOT TRUE and I was so tempted to comment on their photo but I was like "NO" because I must stay as a stalker. -
Cis individuals really don't have the knowledge necessary to make that kind of s---. I mean, I guess if they talked to people who were transgender and made sure that the information they presented was correct and constructive, but that's usually not the case.

yAY BEING IGNORED SO NEW
I'm bored. D: Maybe I should start trying Aubmine characters? -
alrighty

I disagree, sorry. It's just a bunch of s--- generalizations on cis people and it should just be reconsidered.Just because a British company or person makes a movie or a book about America doesn't mean that they cannot do it? It's called research, gathering experiences, and even empathy?
-
That's what I'm saying, though. With research and collaboration with people who have had those experiences, fine, but most don't do that. Transgender people have surprisingly little involvement with transgender representation in the media.

Oh okay. :3

If this is about the movie "About Ray," the person in charge has repeatedly misgendered the character and made some p transphobic comments. Not that cis people can't ever understand, but most don't (at least, not better than people who are actually trans).
Your example about Britain and the US is a poor one. People can visit the US, explore it and experience the culture. You can't really simulate being trans for the sake of experience.
