Okay, but you don't actually know me or really understand this. And whether you say that or not, any response you give me is going to be aimed at being all happy and friendly, but it won't be sincere. There are standard words you say to someone who is upset, and anyone can say them. After a while, they'll realize I'm not budging and lose their patience, and then they'll look for a way out of the hole they've dug themselves into by responding to me in the first place. I don't expect people to actually know or get involved. Don't worry about it.
