First conversation with anyone irl that I have had in months.
Me:Hey, are you okay?
Friend: Yeah, why?
Me:No reason... I just needed to ask.
Friend:Oh ok
Friend: Are you okay?
Me: Sure
Friend: Sure?
Me Haha, sure.
Me: okay then...
Friend: The question "are you okay" isn't really to ask someone how they are doing. It's a polite gesture. Because how many times have you said sure and gotten uncomfortable looks? So saying I'm fine is an easier way to respond to a polite gesture.
Friend: I'm on sleeping pills right now so I'm probably sending really useless or unintelligible sentences
Me: Hm.
Me: Right, sorry. I am beyond tired.
Friend:so am I
Me: Tis fine, I don't care if you send me things about rubber bands disproving the existence of alternative rock.
Me: Well then, this conversation just became very... hmm.. I forgot the word.
Me: Sorry. Goodnight then.
Friend:Y u sorry my internet went out

It's a wonder I have any friends at all.
I actually have no idea why this person still bothers with me. I mean, she has literally always been there. She held my head up over the toilet when I was throwing up, she was there for me in my darkest hour, and all this time I have been nothing but an immature little dramatic [word too violent to speak]... I have tried shutting her out, I have tried avoiding her, but all the while she keeps getting to me when she smiles at me or comments on something I say. It is so stupid and I hate it.... ugh, why is it that right now when I swear I don't want to interact with anyone and force everyone out everyone comes back. .. it is probably all me but whatever... all I need to do is bester my impulsive tendencies and I will be just fine by myself here. -
