I don't find it helpful. It just makes the person feel not good enough for anything and when they practice they expect bigger improvements and things when it never happens. I guess talent and success is for the fortunate ones. I don't work hard like these successful people that can do anything.

Critism is hurtful. Because critism is basically the mean version of Critique in which the person just gives things they find s---ty and don't elaborate on what isn't good. It's basically "This is s---." "That drawing is terrible" etc.
But
CRITIQUES are helpful. Because with critiques they tell you which parts you van improve on your art and give reasons. And they also put it in a nice way that shouldn't offend the artist.
But if you're offended by a critique then you are way too sensitive. -
Basically the first thing you just said is what you guys do.
-
Lol
I elaborate on which parts you need to fix sometimes so I mean-- -
You lean more on the first option.

I find that critiques are super sugar coated constrictive criticism. Yeah criticism can be harsh, but that doesn't mean it's harmful all the time. There's a fine line between being insulting and criticizing, where one is meant to hurt you, and the other may hurt you, but is being said in hopes that it may help in some way.

It's harmful all the time.

Meh, each to his own. Your probs more sensitive about your work than I am. I just like people being straight up with me instead of walking around what they want to say.
-
Actually at first I did tell you what was wrong with which parts. Like i'd say the torso is too short but then you get upset about that and it wasn't even mean? So I'm guessing you're just really sensitive.
