Thread Topic: people who make adopts
-
you're asking me to give you 46 dollars for one character
sighs -
then don't get IT
you know artists on DeviantArt need to get paid right to make a living -
Uh durr????? Ofc I'm not getting it
That's a little too expensive for one character, though. Plus they can just get another job and use DeviantArt for side-money. Depending entirely on DeviantArt for an income is really stupid. -
YES. I FOUND ONE I CAN SNAG.
-
then explain YouTube then
some people monetize their channel and need sponsors to depend on an income that might not even be enough sometimes
really I wanna see you live in their condition
you think you can easily just pop up and become wealthy no it takes hard f---ing work no matter how much times you cry and break down -
Same thing goes for YouTube. People should still have another job just in case. Not exactly including guys like PewDiePie, he makes like 4 million a year.
DeviantArt is a lot different, however. The community is way smaller than YouTube. It's even harder to make money on DeviantArt. -
Yeah, but that 4 million dollars didn't pop out of no where.

He's been at it for years. And while that may be so, I've seen DeviantArt users who've been posting adoptables for years and ended up leaving or stop making the adoptables because nobody bought them.
