If he's not dating anyone, I doubt she'd care. You can if you both are close enough and you don't want her to flip her s--- when she finds out.

He's dating someone....sadly she doesn't like me anymore I'm so lucky now I don't have to stay up all night listening to her stories about her ex so I'm fine as long as I never see them again
