I got mine done at the mall. First time was when I was 5. Then again when I was 8. I haven't worn earrings since I was 9, but that's only because I think they feel weird.

I just put these in this morning.
It only took a day for the pain to go away. It was swollen, and it stung. It went away in one day. You have to get used to it. -
