There was a thread about this not that long ago somewhere. I don't think it would make you dissapear in that moment because you're already in existence and if you travelled back to the future you would still have been in existence so I can't see how you wouldn't exist as you returned. So I think the answer is - you wouldn't be able to travel back in time to kill your present self. But maybe as you returned to the future you'd no longer know anyone, like you'd be a stranger because you apparently haven't existed.
