Thread Topic: My little cousin asked to watch "Friday the 13th"

I said "No"
"Why?"
"Because it is rated R, and not for people under 16"
"But you're 15."
"I have parent's permission."
"I can too."
His parents said no.
"Why?"
"It is scary, very violent, and not appropriate. " -
(the new one)

And just how old is your cousin, nine?
-
Yeah. He even knows who Freddy Krueger is, and not from me! How da fuq do kids know these fays?
I meant, 17 for above.
Hehe poll. -
Wow...I guessed the correct age. :P
Your cousin should stick to G and PG rated movies. -
Yes. He hasn't seen any of the "Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, but he knows the villain.
-
How does he know, internet? ~.~
-
No, probably his older sister, or something like that. He, and his 11 year old sister know the song, too. But knowing Freddy Krueger at 11, to me, is a lot more understandable than at 9. I knew about him in 6th grade.

Well, I'm no hhorror fanatic, but even I know Norman Bates and stuff.
-
Yeah.
