In my middle school, there were three categories: honorable mention, honor roll, and club 90. Honorable mention was if you had a 70.0-79.99 average; honor roll was 80.0-89.99 GPA; and club 90 was 90.0 and up.

My averages were always in the 80s range. Except for that one time my average was a 90, and that was in eighth grade. And honorable mention was only once for me, but in sixth grade. The majority of me was in honor roll. :P
