(trying to look scary, probably)
Casper is a 300+ year old warlock who was born shortly before the Salem Witch Trials. Raised just as much by witches as by his own parents, he quickly became skilled within the realm of magic, especially for his young age. Since he was raised as a girl, and his parents refused to recognize that he was a son and not a daughter, he eventually left home and moved in with his mentors/real family. When captured and accused of being a warlock, Casper gave the names of other fellow magic users he knew (though he didn't know their real names) in hopes of being spared. He was burned at the stake regardless, partially as a punishment for witchcraft, and partially for being disloyal. He escaped, but not without an abundance of burn scars covering the right side of his body. I'm addition, he received backlash from the rest of the community, and was cursed to know the pain of immortality.
Casper currently wanders the world, never trying to get incredibly close to anyone, and looking for a way to die. -

Name: Jayden 'Jay' Nightshade
Age: 14
Gender: Male
*Class: Witchdoctor
Sexuality: Bisexual (Though he hasn't figured it out.)
Appearance: Jay is a small boy, about 5'2 with eyes like a kaleidoscope. His raven black hair is an absolute mess which can not be tamed. He has a light tan acquired by his time outdoors. He wears a grey-blue button up coat with brown lining and a plain t-shirt, along with worn-out sneakers. Jay always has his brown backpack with him that contains all his possessions.
Personality: He's quite because he's never been given any reason to be loud. Though he's naturally selfless, he has learned to be rational and see if he can benefit from the situation. Jay is not very trusting due to past experiences.
Short bio: He's been going from place to place since he can remember, though he has faint memories of having a family. One thing he remembers very clearly before he started traveling is his immense fear of dark beings who killed everything in sight, which he has later learned were demons.
Abilities: Jay can insert some of his magic into inanimate objects, bringing them to life. He also knows basic shadow magic and can use the shadows to travel from time to time. Another ability of his is that he can talk to animals.
Weaknesses and strengths: He has a vast knowledge of healing remedies and herbs, which he keeps in stock inside his pack. When using shadows to travel one literally melds with their shadow to get to their destination, the downside to this is later the chances of not being able to split from your shadow increase the more you do it.
Other: His companion is one of the very first inanimate objects that he infused his magic with, a skeleton plushie that goes by the name 'Boo'.
