Rap had more substance compared to today's rap. In fact, this applies to all music. Yesterday, I was listening to music from 2007-2008.

The rhyming in a lot of these are more elaborate too
Eeh. Well I'm not hearing much about partying or girls but they are dissing over MC's and everything is way chill.

Yeah. It's talking more about the whole gang violence thing like how rap was originally suppose to be like
