Okay guys here is my project for girl scouts. I cant post pics on an ipad. :(. It has a bunch of pictures of donkeys around it, including Donkey Kong (yes I know) and Donkey from shriek.
1. Donkeys were very important to the develoment of long dostance trade across Egypt.
2. Wealthy members of society were known to own over 1,000 donkeys.
3. Donkeys are still used in mostly poor countries. They are used to transport food and water and people.
4.donkeys have been used as a "working" animal for at least 5,000 years.
5. Donkeys are mentioned all throughout the bible
6. Mary rode a Donkey to Bethlehem to give birth to Jesus
7. Today, Donkeys symbolize stubbornness. Because of this they are used to represent the Democratic Party. -
