  the trick is to link a quiz called The Random Quiz which the pass to is "random" It won't show up on your page but it automatically levels you up to novice. Now be warned, for most users they get about halfway to the next level, Junior, and their status bar resets to just had being novice only about 5 mins. So until that happens don't get your hopes up too much.
