Wanna convince my parents to let me cut my hair short.
How do I get them to agree to this? They're both Christians who believe women should have long hair, ect, ect.

just cut it short when you're at a friends house, they can't do much after it. sure, you may get in trouble for a bit but unless they're understanding they won't give you permission.
or try talking to them. -
try explaining to them that your hair length doesn't determine you value as a person

Tell them it costs less money to take care of... and it's more comfortable. Idk if they'll care about the latter one but who knows. -
Also try to do some Bible studying and prove them wrong about the long hair thing... I mean, as long as we don't shave our heads, I think it's okay to have short hair :P

Emphasize the IFS in this verse. It's not saying it IS a shame, it's saying IF it's a shame.
