Don't hate on whoever said yes. That's never okay. Just because they don't think it's right doesn't make them a bad person. Think of it this way, if you harass them about their opinion, they can harass you about yours. Don't ever force someone to think your way.

I've learned to respect people who think it's wrong because of their religion or because it makes them uncomfortable. I made friends at my junior high, and a month after (I think), I came out bisexual. All of them said they weren't used to the idea, but they would accept me for being what I am. And then there are the girls who are are into their religion and say that it's wrong. I understand, because while I'm not deep into religion, sometimes we just have to accept the fact that not everyone is fine with homosexuals. It makes people uncomfortable if it's not just a joke. To them, to say "lol that's gay" is comfortable, but once you express that you really ARE gay or definitely not straight makes them think about it deeply. Some people do care about what parts someone has, and that's their opinion. There are adults that despise non-straight people, and we really just have to learn that we're the better generations and we've got a better chance at giving people like us a chance. No one will ever fully get over it, and like I've said five times, we've gotta deal with it.
