Personally, I'd be apprehensive. I'm not sure I'd want to see the person I could have become, whether that person be better or worse off than myself, I'm just not sure I'd want to know.

Yes I think I'd want to know but I wouldn't be happy about it. I don't know how I'd feel, so maybe it'd be better to not know...
That didn't really answer it at all did it -
Would you take the offer of going to another civilisation/planet of extra terrestrial life if there was no guarantee of coming back to earth yet you are the only person who has the chance to go?

If there are infinite string vibration frequencies, then why aren't there infinite types of particles? Is there some level-mechanism like electrons as they 'orbit' the nucleus of an atom? or are the other infinities of particles too hard to create for them to be abundant?
