So there was a sub today. Everyone sat in whatever seat they wanted, but I stayed in my seat because I sit right next to two of my friends. My boyfriend sits in the table to our right. He was by himself and all quiet as usual while I was at the other table talking with my friends.
Ten minutes until school got out, these two girls came up and asked if we had broken up. I said no. They asked why I wasn't sitting by him. I shrugged.
Whenever I'm by him, we're both very quiet so there is no talking. However, my friends have lots of things to say. Besides, he was right there. If he was all the way across the room, of course I'd sit by him, but that wasn't the case.

meerkat Novicemy question is if you were alowed to sit wherever you wanted, why wouldnt you have automaticaly sat by him,your friends would most likely follow

Because he was right there, and I didn't feel the need to move.

He should've moved his ass over to your table with your friends nonchalantly. That's what I would've done.

I've taken a photo of him once because I was taking pics for Yearbook, and he did a silly face. He'd probably do it again.
