It does not matter whether or not they are using religion as an excuse. They are allowed to practice their religion, even force their kids into that religion. However they should not be able to irrevocably mutilate their child because of their religion.
Also, my parents didn't even have any religous motivation behind it. -
It happened when you were a baby, and besides, it really does benefit you. The extra skin could caused problems. Imagine having to pull it back every time you had to pee.

Though U.S. Health Officials and doctors have made conclusions that it does, in fact, help prevent penile cancer.
Never said it stops it.
Besides, whether you're uncircumcised or not, penile cancer comes at the same rate. -
Dude. Foreskin exists for a purpose. It protects nerve endings and is basically like a lil shield against diseases. Also what Geek said.

A lot of medical problems can come up due to the foreskin being there, however.

No one is forcing any sexual actions onto them.
Like paraphimosis, when the foreskin doesn't come back after being pulled behind the head. It gets trapped and could make the circulation of blood to the head get cut off. Plus, lots of problems with foreskin have to do with cleanliness in that region. Without foreskin, it's easier to keep clean. -
They're removing part of their genitals tho ??? I think that's a little worse !!
All you have to do is pull it back and rinse it off to keep it clean like ?? it's not dirty naturally ??? -
