  We mainly sing, "Ding, diiiing dong ding, dong, diiiing dong." or "DING doooong DING doooong." :l And then my select choir teacher is all, "C'MON ALTOS," BUT THERE IS ONLY THREE ALTOS IN A CLASS WITH MAINLY SOPRANOS LIKE DAYUM SON

  I'm singing the same song in choir as well. The altos in my class overpopulate the sopranos (I'm a soprano) and it's a little too easy for me to mess up my singing part because I just tune into the altos. ;-;

  We're singing Carol of the Bells as well. But we have First Soprano, Second Soprano, and Alto. First Soprano is highest, Alto is lowest. I'm a First Soprano. The Choir/Music teacher put all the good people on Second Soprano and Alto. The First Sopranos are the ones with the really high "Gayly we ring," and only three or so out of the twelve or so that make up the Sopranos can actually hit the note. I'm one of them. I almost always falter the note when none of the other First Sopranos sing, which is often. There are some people on Second Soprano that could easily hit the note, but our Choir teacher says that she needs more Second Soprano. sorry about the rant
