Who know people could be "flawless" or "gorgeous"? I can't tell you how much I asked to be those two words but the more I wished the more I got so ugly and hideous and more I looked in the mirror it looked like some ugly motherf---er wishing to be some girl that people would actually compliment her about her beauty on the outside. I get jealous when other people call other people that and it triggers my anger ALOT. I just don't see them as...
As..
Flawless and gorgeous. I just see false lashes and 2 hours of dedication of Loreal makeup. -
I know how you feel. I don't know why people use makeup anymore. All it is is color for your face. That's why I don't use makeup. I don't use makeup because I don't think I need to feel beautiful that way. It makes me feel fake. And yet people get called gorgeous and flawless because they do put on makeup. I want to be myself but also be as gorgeous and flawless as they are.
-
Exactly, and people coo over them and they actually do look so gorgeous and beautiful and I'm just like "Why not me, universe? Why make me so unfortunate?"
-
Instead of looking at you imperfections look for something that you should be grateful for. Like being skinny, nice hair or having hair that, over time, can be tamed. Your only comparing yourself to fakes. c:
-
But then there's the point of view that people think, "Then just f---ing put on makeup, don't be lazy".
-
Br0wnie, right. And I don't even know how ducking put eyeliner on not even mascara so they need the shut the f--- up unless they are beauty experts, which they are not because they think "flawless" is wearing makeup to make your unique face pretty.
Meep- *claps* -
Yes, oh my god. I didn't teach myself how to put on makeup because I don't think it's that valuable.
-
Right? And when you get into middle school, you start experiencing more stuff and get into the teenage world of superficiality and materialistic s--- that was taught by society and made it seem right to think about the outside and these kids take in anything without making a f---ing second thought.
-
I don't know if this is going offtopic or not, but I think it's the mainstream pop music that's brainwashing them into trashing themselves up to be noticed around here. I think you should be able to have a wonderful personality to be noticed and be nice to everybody. It's not about beauty or style, I think it's about your viewpoint on life and how you wish to pursue that viewpoint. All those subliminal messages within those lyrics are teaching kids and teenagers how to act, which isn't even proper at all, and I think it's pathetic how people try to gain attention these days, following those messages. It's just....oh my god.
-
That's not going offtopic because the people, us, look up to the media because it's apart of the new age generation and everybody is doing it and it's a somewhat sufficient part of our new society now a days. The industry wants to create perfect human beings, known was celebrities, to set a example to us fellow commoners to make them seem like true gods or kings and queens and it's their job to look flawless, no acne, white teeth all the time even though it's really false teeth SURPRISE STUPID MOTHERf---ING TEENS YOU ARE FINALLY EDUCATED, big booties, and you know all that seemingly perfect s---. Since celebrities are powerful and famous, we look up to them as gods and therefore stupid children think they are "good" "beautiful" "perfect" and they want to be like them, have their fortune and wealth and beauty and look up to them like the brainwashed slaves they are.
I agree. I think celebrities should set a better example to kids because you DEFINITELY know they listen to your music, buy your clothes, perfume, follow your fashion trends and other hella stupid trends set by idiotic imbecilic celebrities and they follow you. -
If they are trying to make this type of music just to gain more and more attention, it's the world that's messed up, because people like to see that. Media loves it. And celebrities are changing their whole personality and look just to be noticed. They don't want to lose their fame, money or self-worth. And I think it's pathetic how greedy they are.
-
i like some celebrities
some are genuine and doing what they love also for profit
some want to appeal to the public for money to support themselves or theyre family
some are the way you describe them but not all -
I agree. They change their personality because of the new industry and how it goes now a days. It's all about the money and greed, nothing else. And they take anything bad and shove it into the media and show the world this is somewhat "right" and they are also... LE GASP.. also make money when people could barely afford rent over something that isn't really important!
-
Right, Shido. Some people are doing this for a good reason, but others are just doing it for the money and the fame.
I don't get Hollywood these days. -
then why classify all of them that way?
it's not fair to the people just doing what they enjoy or the people trying to take care of their family and give them things they never had in the past.
