wait nooooo mia I need to know how you're getting it I don't wanna be a sore cheater
-
That looks fun. :D
Now, if it were SpongeBob and Patrick... childhood raped.
Alex-There is such thing as incomplete dominance. Combine a red and white rose, you get pink. -
Okay, so, if the dominant trait is always a capital letter (for example, Y for yellow). If one of the parents is purebred yellow (YY) and the other is blue (yy), then I don't know how to explain this I'm a bad teacher hng someone help
-
I can only do the problems not explain them.
-
but like for 2
I thought the center would be like green or something -
Uhm uhm
If even one letter in the combination is the capital letter, then the person/thing will receive the dominant trait. As in, YY AND Yy receive a dominant trait. On the other hand, for the person/thing to have the recessive trait, BOTH of the letters must be lowercase, or yy. -
The traits can't combine, at least I don't think so. I remember that it's if there's one capital letter, than the dominant trait takes over? I think i dunno
-
What about offspring born with incomplete dominance? It applies to the dominant gene, too?
-
I think I get it
but
punnett squares
how -
Dark~ On the bright side, at least your science paper is SpongeBob. :3
-
Okay, so that I think I can explain.
One parent's genes for color (yellow and blue again) is YY, and the other parent is yy.
Set up the square like so (pretend the letters line up ugh) and then match like a times table.
Y Y

y|_Yy_|_Yy_|
y|_Yy_|_Yy_| -
