I'm typing something up for them, so lol sorry for the suspense.

Name: Shadow
Age: Actual age unknown, presumed to be 25
Gender: Male
Birthday: Birthday unknown
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 100 lbs
Family: Arilee Dearia Smith (Girlfriend/Wife), Kaytie (Daughter), Pierce (Son), Matthew (Son), Cedric (Step-son)
Appearance: Shadow has night-black hair that goes slightly past his ears but doesn't go down much further. His eyes, normally a light shade of blue, can change to red in the blink of an eye. He's not as tall as he'd like to be, but it's enough. His body is a slightly muscular build and he's a normal body mass. He prefers to wear darker colors- black, grey, dark purple, ect.- and long sleeved shirts. He wears a simple black watch on his right wrist that he doesn't bother to actually use. Preferred shoes are boots or sneakers.
Personality: While Shadow seems to be quite the open soul, he's actually very quiet and mysterious when it comes to people he doesn't trust. He can be quite flirty when he wants to be. He keeps his distance from those he doesn't trust and pays close attention to the ones he does. He's not very professional unless his job asks for it. People close to him might say he's a dork that needs to be serious. Others might say he's a scary s--- that reminds them of Slenderman but less scarier. You have to know him to see the bright side. If you aren't, you might just end up meeting the silent yet deadly side of him.
History: Shadow hadn't always been a "being". Before he turned into a 'human with benefits', (he) was the matter that brought darkness into the world. (He) was the shadows on the walls, your shadow that follows you, the darkness that once engulfed the world. (He) was there when the world was first brought into existence and (he's) been here ever since. However, (he) felt lonely watching the world grow. Devastated, (he) wished to be free from his prison. He wished to become a human. And one day, when he shut off his connections from the world, he was given that wish. He was born into this world as a sort of gift.
Even though he was born human, he had the power to control the shadows around him. It was very limited, of course, and he tried his best to not use them, but when he did, he usually caused accidents- simple ones, like a broken plate or a hole in the floor. The people that gave birth to him and raised him adored him despite his powers. When he turned four, he was abandoned when they were slaughtered by someone that was surrounded in the same darkness he had come to hate. He went out the same night, trying to find that person. He was picked up by a young woman from an orphanage and taken in.
At the tender age of six, the kids that lived in the same orphanage as him were so scared of him that they plotted to murder him. They grabbed him late into the night and tossed him in the nearby river. Shadow would have died if he had been human, but the shadows formed a ball around him and gave him a few precious hours to breathe underneath the water. When he was rescued, he was placed into a special hospital where he'd likely be tested on. The doctors revealed that through that accident that even though he was saved by his powers, he had breathed in a bunch of water. He had to go through a dangerous surgery on his lungs that nearly got him killed. The hospital kept him confined for years until a man he called Teacher rescued him. He lived with that man until he turned 16, when Teacher died and left him again.
When Shadow got control over his powers, he found that he could use the shadows to go around the world. He could jump from California to Japan just by melting into the shadows. He used his power to watch over people and rescue those that he could. He continues to use this same power to protect loved ones. Shadow's unsure of how long he will last, but he prays that he'll die like a human with his family and never again have the burden of carrying the darkness alone.
Extra Trivia:
- Even though he despises the shadows, he loves dark colors. He finds it ironic.
- He hates shopping. Shopping has always irritated him for no real reason.
- Shadow is deathly afraid of water. Even if he acts like he can stand it, on the inside, he's a squealing little girl. -
Just a tad. May I share a character to see if she's a Mary Sue?

Maybe a little bit, like Selena said. Overall, a good character. Probably an 8/10.

I don't need an emphasis. I wasn't saying that rudely, I was being blunt. He's my favorite character and if I were to change anything it'd be pretty dull of me. I've built him around this story and I'd like it to stay that way. .-. I know it's fine.

Name: Anne Diovoidenna
Age: Late 400s

Species: Demon (of the least demonic sort)
Height: 5'1
Weight: Not given, but thin
Appearance: Anne is a demon with pale skin and short, blonde hair that cuts off at her chin. She has two small, brownish horns that look somewhat like tiny cacti. Her pupils are a dark purple and her sclera is not distinguishable from her iris, as they're the same shade of lavender. In addition, she has nine eyes, one above the end of her nose and three under each main eye (these six are entirely dark purple). Anne is never seen in public without yellow rain boots and a raincoat, which she wears over a white button-up shirt and striped leggings colored similarly to her eyes.
Personality: While neither strongly promiscuous or chaste, Anne is an awful drunk, often becoming extremely horny when she's had too much to drink. She lives out of a suitcase which contains tools she uses mainly for "scientific" work, which is mostly communication with the moon. She seems to be naturally drawn toward conspiracies. Anne tends to be a little rude and exclusive, though protective toward those she is familiar with.
Bio: She refuses to say anything, though insists that you could maybe get something out of her if you find her at the right place and time (hint: a shady old diner with a large, outdated neon sign and dull fluorescent lights, usually at 2-3 AM).
