The sum of the digits of a two-digit number is 12. The difference of the digits is 2. Find the number if the units digit is larger than the tens digit.
LIKE WHAT -
Well, I'm thinking that maybe the two digits equal 12, and the space between the two digits is 2, so you gotta find the digits??
idk i'm leaning different stuff -
oh my god I think I actually know this
Mind if show you? -
It's 57
-
I hate this kind of math
go ahead -
huh
-
..OHHHHHH
-
I think it's 57, that's the two digit number.
-
Yeah
5 + 7 is 12
and
7 - 5 is 2 -
What ilovelions said.
Okay, the first part is basically _+_= 12. First thing that comes to my mind is 6+6, but the next part cancels that out since there is no difference between 6 and 6. So, I move down one number. 5+7=12. The difference between 5 and 7 is 2, so it's good for now. Then it's saying that the number in the ones place is bigger than the one in the tens place, and 7 is bigger than 5, so it's 57.
sorry I suck at explaining -
Late post XD Glad you figured it out.

Thanks so much. ;-; I'm bad as easy math.
