Thread Topic: Better go on GTQ while you still can.

There's currently a huge ass sunspot on the Sun. It just barely missed Earth last weekend when it burst outside of the kill zone. But unlike pretty much every other sunspot, this one won't go away. And..... There's a chance that it will still be there in 13 days, which is when the Sun will have rotated all the way around the huge ass sunspot is in the kill zone. My point is, if that thing does go away and it hits us, THERE WILL BE NO MORE POWER. PERMANENTLY. AND IF IT IS GOING TO HIT US, YOU ALL HAVE 13 DAYS REMAINING ON GTQ UNTIL THIS PLACE DOESN'T EXIST ANYMORE.
So ya know, just freak out aand have fun or something. Earth already dodged the bullet once, so it might again. We better hope so cause this is not good people. D: -
Yay.

Yay? You want to have no power for at least 20 years?
-
Errr okay then XD

"If aimed at Earth, X-class flares can be dangerous for astronauts and spacecraft orbiting the planet. The radiation can disrupt radio and communication signals, but solar flares cannot injure people on Earth's surface, according to Fox. The planet's atmosphere acts as a protective barrier from the harmful radiation."
Doesn't say anything about cutting off electricity. I think we'll be fine. -
It can cut off electricity. It happened once years ago, but the power was only temporarily out for 3 days that time. Luckily it was a smaller sunspot.
