there's a list of stuff that's needed
perhaps it could be a child meets an angel thing -
what's on the list

Book has to explain:
-The teachings of Muhammad
-Islam's connection to Christianity and Judaism
-The beliefs and practices in the Qur'an and Sunnah
-Why those sources were significant to a Muslim's life -
what do you know about the night of power and excellence
the five pillars are part of muhammad's teachings
basically he was like "yo dudes there's only one god" and they were like "whoa" but other people were like "no" because there were so many religions in the area at the time and they didn't want to give up polytheism -
what the heck is that I don't speak that
and then there's
"you gotta pray five times a day"
and
"omg let's fast"
and
"charity man go charity"
and then
"so let's talk about the haaj" -
the night of power and excellence was when the angel gabriel came to muhammad and chatted with him and showed him all seven heavens
muhammad had been praying in a cave
uh yep
the five pillars are:
1. shadada (confession of faith)
2. prayer (five times a day)
3. fasting (especially ramadan)
4. charity (2.5 of your earnings to the poor or community)
5. pilgrimage (the hajj/trip to mecca, has to happen once during a muslim's life unless they can't because money or disability) -

well I think I wanna include an angel in my story

i talked to a woman who's gone on her pilgrimage already and it sounds like the most inspirational thing -

I'm not but if it's inspirational to them it'll probably be amazing to someone who isn't. -
i'm tempted to gradually move toward it but idk i have some pretty islamophobic family
also the hajj journeys are very limited each year so it wouldn't be fair for someone who isn't muslim to go -
