They begged me to go
Knowing that it we be a bore and super slow
There would be no lights that would glow
I was forced to come
I just sit in a corner and hum
While I watch your friends be dumb
They should have told me this was a going to be a boring party
If you came inside you would have to agree with me
You would snore by the time you sat down
You rather hit the clubs downtown

I expected more
To see the flashing lights and confetti
Cups filled with booze that seems heavy
Taking funny pictures in the bathroom
But no it's just me and your uninteresting family that seem gloom
It's all gray
That's what I say
There is no colors
It's getting duller and duller
No music is playing
Why am I still staying
Should I stop waiting
And hit the road
A la mode -
