For highschool, do they pick out what classes you should take depending on your talent? Like, if you're good at singing, they put you into a singing class? Or if you're good at drawing, they put you in an art class...is that how they do it? Or do you just pick where you want to go?

No, you have to have certain classes and you pick a few.

I picked my classes for freshman year when I was in eighth grade. And I pick my classes every year. I don't know how it is for you though.

You have your basic classes for every year, then you choose your electives. Sometimes you pick your science or social studies classes.
