The corpse fell to the floor. The brain matter and blood spewed from it's broken, now hollow skull
"Hh..." The teen sighed.
Maru POV
My maroon colored hair blocked my sight, so I simply combed the strands away using my fingers. My grip on the butcher knife relaxed when the un-dead ceased to move. This is the 3rd time this week a zombie sneaked in to the building. It was suppose to be seal. Shut tight. I walked back to where my comrades.. my friends were.
Selena, or Emily, the short blonde haired girl was dozing off. Madison, was already asleep, but laying in the laps of a tear stained Andi. Bob laid against a wall, reading a book he found on the shelves. And Carri was nearby Selena, wide awake.
"Did you figure out what the noise was?" Bobert asked, peaking up from said novel.
"Another walking corpse." I said with a sigh and a lifted hand gesture. My eyes shifted over to the two girls, Madison and Andi. It seems like the brunette has been crying once again. But I can't judge. Just a few days ago she lost her loved one to one of those beast. Darkness.
I pinned the sharp tip of the nice in to the ground, and spun it around, trying to dismiss the thought of losing my friend. It was tough, but now I have to protect the others I hold dear.
Small, hardly seen sparks lit up from the friction of the blade spinning in to the concrete floors of the this abandoned factory.
Selena rested her head on my shoulder, finally falling victim to sleep.
"A plan of action." Bobert spoke again.
I looked at the man again. I was inspired by those words.
"Plan of action." I repeated.
"You are an intellectual individual, correct?"
"Hm. Good question, Bobert." I replied.
"You don't need coaching through this situation."
"I guess you're right." I picked the knife from the floor. I stared hard at my altered reflection.
"Let's leave in the morning." -
