what's the difference between dubstep and hip hop cause they sound the same to me .3. -

dubstep barley has any words and hip hop is words with music in the backgroubd at a semi fast pace.
and rap is a beat with words being rymed at a fast pace -
It doesn't have to be at a fast paced.
Rap is basically talking in rhythm and a beat that flows with the music. -
And dubstep barely has words like absol said, and its heavily electronic. =/

Well, dubstep, as with any other electronic music, isn't exactly focused around the words or the meaning behind it, but more on the electronic sounds that inspire raves and can sometimes make people feel "drugged up". Hip hop is based around the lyrics and their meanings, like so many other countless music genres. :I

Yeah. :I I guess some people just don't get the same feelings from the electronic sounds, and that's why they don't like it. Even though it doesn't focus around the lyrics and their meanings, however, dubstep is actually a lot more complicated then people treat it. They act like it's just "Press play and make noise". But it's really not, and if people would actually try making it before they trash-talked it, maybe they'd stop calling it stupid. I mean, it's no orchestral symphony, but we all have our different tastes. :I
