For someone's anxiety disorder to have any merit, they need to get it diagnosed. If they do get it diagnosed then there are treatments and therapy sessions they can go to for help.
If these were actually done, then those people would be able to handle the threads without issue.
If they weren't done, and the person is claiming they have anxiety issues without getting it diagnosed, then those issues are their own. -
