I remember a big movement last june about spam quizzes, it still applies. Useless quizzes are not good. A quiz should be a quiz, not a forum post. A quiz should be fun, a quiz should be high quality.
Also, a few high quality quizzes are worth tens of crap quizzes level wise. -
My quizzes aren't all completely worthless, if that's what you're implying. I make quizzes to post funny quotes and to make people laugh if I don't have other ideas. It still serves a purpose, but isn't a high quality quiz, yet isn't a crap quiz either.

If I make a thread with the purpose of you answering questions to find something about you that is spam as there is a much better way, a quiz. A thread which is turned into a quiz is spam as there is a much better way, a thread.

When I make a quiz, I put time into it, post on few boards, people take, I alter a bit before it gets locked, then it hits front page and skyrockets.
My last quiz "Which strategy game are you?" Had a hundred takers in less than 2 hours with posting on 2 boards. Currently has 820 takes. 80 times a funny quotes thread. The number of takers is what levels you up, not the fact you made a quiz. As proven by my multi lucky cat.
