Do any of yallhave tips for writeing/comic making? Or do any of y'all know another website forums like gtq that ist dead?

What specific tips on writing?
I mean, there's always reddit, but other than that I'm not really sure of other website forums. I haven't ever looked -
I feel like forum culture like gtq is dead
but what kind of comic tips and writing tips?
I have character design tips too fr comic tips. -
Just anything in general. Cuz like... I kinda just taught myself how to draw comic so my carectors are just a oval with two lines for eyes😶ðŸ˜

hmmmm well for comics I would learn how to script, do layouts, and learn different kind of shots (POV, over the shoulder,) an character design.
character design should be simple enough to turn the character into a plushy, but distinct enough to be recognizable.
you should also find an art style you can keep consistent from frame-to-frame, and of course, make sure you have your story overall done/planned out before you start drawing.
if your drawing comics for fun, think of a clever idea or distinct design that sets you apart from other artists.
if your doing something like a published comic or webcomic, it might be a good idea to make your own website beyond webtoon. plus, getting someone to do clean up art. clean up art make sure that everything stays consistent from all the panels. don't sign fishy contracts, never fall down the rabbit hole of redrawing pages because you improved.
I'm not a pro but these are some things I learned. I might think of more soon. -
and by recognizable, I mean you can recognize the character from the silhoute.
and don't hesitate for ask for tips about your story writing or pointers for your art. advice often makes us uncomfortable but everything you make will be ten times better if you seek advice. -
