My mom is bipolar and her meds took about a month to start kicking in.

Yeah, but what can I do? It's like they don't understand that being ridiculed and denied basic human rights is something I'd be eager to sign up for.

Next time I have an appointment, I'll ask. I wish there was some way for me to text my doctor or call her personally, because my parents don't acknowledge it when I tell them there's definitely something wrong with my health. It took three weeks for my mom to believe me last time I had an ear infection, despite having a history of them. It was there long enough that this type may be reoccurring.
