They're a valid band and a lot of you don't know anything about them. You just judge them like people judge Justin Bieber. I'm afraid to show my love for something that makes me happy because everyone ruins it. So like yeah I don't care anymore HARRY STYLES WOOH

I personally hate the band, but it's exactly that. Personal. You shouldn't be judged for liking One Direction.
People who still adamantly support Justin Bieber, however, are well aware of the fact that he's an awful person and they kind of made the choice to give him their allegiance. Not very intelligent in my opinion. -

Some people hate their music. That's me.
Some people hate them because they're a boy band, and boy bands are synonymous with "tribal song of hormonal teenage girls", which big tough people simply cannot be associated with. -
I hate most of it (except for that one song about what makes you beautiful, I actually kind of like that one), but I won't judge for liking it.
