It was 3 am in the morning. Brandan sat on the edge of the cliff, it was where he and Scar met for the first time. He sighed and looked at the sky, which had a light bluish hue. Brandan returned back here once again,but happier this time.
"Bran, you called me?", a whispery voice called from behind. Brandan turned around to see Scar, his love. Scar's hair was messy, and she wore a white summer dress. She looked stunningly beautiful. Her eyes were full of love. Brandan felt for a moment, now, he had something to live for.
"Come here, and sit beside me", said he. She dutifully followed, and sat beside him. "Remember, it was here where we used to talk about death", said he. "Yes", I clearly remember", giggled Scar, "But truly saying, Bran, I feel relieved now. I feel, I feel as if a balm has been applied to the wounds of my soul. " Brandan heard this words attentively, and then...... he slipped his hands into hers, "You are no less then an angel, Scar, you made me....happy, you made me embrace life. And that is why....I-I love you" A pearl tear slipped out of Bran's hazel eyes. Scar wiped it with her fingers, "I love you too, and I'll love you always."
Scar spread her arms to hug her soul mate. But unfortunately, she slipped and fell off the cliff.
But, at the right time, Brandan's strong hand held hers,"I'LL NOT LET YOU FALL". Scar didn't know what to do, but this time, she was very close to the death she had been always plotting of. Of course, anybody would die if they fall into such a deep gorge. Suddenly, she noticed a bandage over Bran's hand."Brandan", she asked, "What happened to your hand?"
"Uhh...nothing"
"Bran! Tell the truth."
"Ok-ok",Brandan blurted out, "I tried suicide, because I felt I'm not the guy for you....I was pretty close...I cut some of my nerves but, somebody hospitalised me and I-I got better."
Scar was cold hearing this....
"Brandan, leave my hand."
"Wh-what?"
"I SAID LEAVE MY HAND."
"But why?"
"Because, you are too weak now. And anyways, I always wanted to escape from the fever and fret of life. Now is the right chance."
"I.WILL.NEVER.", saying this, Bran tried once more and fortunately, he could pull her up.
As soon as she came up, Bran hugged her tightly. Scar started crying in his shoulders. Brandan took out his handkerchief, and wiped out her tears.....
He then looked at he beautiful eyes and came close to her, and his lips touched hers........
"Never leave me. If you die, I'll die too", Brandan said this and they kissed once again as the sun rised...... -
Love never felt so good....
