I love how I was trying so hard to get rid of "other" and it deleted everything turning it into "other". I've spent $30 on the damn thing and I have to re-buy it all. Apple really needs to set things up properly if they want people to continue buying. Moreover, if they tell you to back up s---, they should let you back up.

No. It said, "Cannot sync" and stopped every time I tried. And everything that was supposed to be labeled as "Apps: 1.2 GB" and stuff is now "Other: 6 GB".

That sucks, I'm sorry.
Is there a way you can look on Recycle Bin on your computer? Maybe the songs aren't completely deleted and you can restore the files. -

I have the songs on three different computers, but all of my apps are totally gone. It refused to save them on any of them. :I -
That's lame. :/ Apple needs to be more helpful with backing things up.

On a lighter note, I found out that it remembers what you've bought. All I need to do is re-download crap and it'll say "You already bought this. Click here to download it again for free." -
