I went to the library and asked the staff for a bandaid but then they took me to the back room and cleaned up the blood and tried to get some of the poison out. And then they wrapped my arm in a pretty cast bandage and gave me a sucker.
Then I went back outside and towards the back bookshelves where the computers are and my friends asked me what happened and I told them and some of them bought me cookies and pop from the front desk and others are just trying to comfort me since they have no money.
And then one high schooler was all like, "You're pretty badass to get a beating like that and not even cry." One other said, "Do you go to our high school? You're a freshman, right? I haven't seen you around before." Unfortunately I told her I was in sixth grade and then she was like, "You're pretty tall for your age." And then asked for a picture with me.
Then one other high school girl said, "Hi Madison" like she knew me. I knew her name was Anna but I don't know her well. Somehow she knew my name.
My arm hurts but I feel loved because all these people are still asking if I'm okay and offering some gum and helping me eat my cookies. Aside from me, how are you guys? -

Yeah, but I feel a little too pampered, I feel like I'm taking them for advantage just because I got stung by a bee. -
