And if they can't break it, they would send her to another hospital that can. We've come so far in medical science now, there has to be a way for her to get through this. I'm sure there is.

Chances are, they can inject some blood thinners and personally un-block the vein/artery. And since it's the leg, there's no critical chance of killing her quickly, I believe. Chances are, you're mother is going to be up and running within half a month.

I can't comfort you as I don't trust hospitals much anymore, but I hope all goes well.

Trust me, hospitals don't run well. But I hope that she gets better by natrual beliefs and faith.
