yeah when i tell them how to pronounce it... but when teachers are checking attendance for the first time i always have to tell them and they forget sometimes

yeah my teachers would forget to pronounce my name too. It's pronounced "a-ly-s-sa" They pronounced it "a-lesh-a" so i just told them to call me lyssa or liz. some of them called me aly or lyss. my pe teacher liked to call me aly and miss lyss
