I say that when I get really mad and I'm yelling at someone because my southern accent comes in, and I just can't help it.

I dunno. It just irritates me. I can handle it when people say it, but when they take the time to type it, there's a certain comedic element to it that makes it impossible for me to take that person seriously.

I don't get the point in typing it out. If you're going to do all that, you may as well just say 'you all.' Or something different entirely. -

Exactly my point. You can type "you all".
I don't see why that would be a problem. "You all" is the proper term. "Y'all" is verbose. It's an accent. It applies in speaking, and that, I have no problem with. And if it were a different language, again, I wouldn't be one of those ignorant s---s telling people they have to speak English or get the f--- off the internet. Anyway, it's only my opinion. The word, when typed, irritates me. People do their thing.
