This is the preview:
In 2055, the world was stunned as NASA lanched it's first space probe in over forty years. The probe went farther into space than any previous attempt and stumbled upon the discovery of a lifetime. Upon review, the probe had discovered a planet the strongly resembled that of our own, and sustained life. With help of the UN, a colonization team and a team of marines launch to the planet, only to be encountered by the advanced people that already populate the planet. After a meeting between the two, the inhabitants declare the humans friends. But, under orders from the UN, the marines laid waste to the village in order to set up their own. Earth had just stumbled into a war it never intended.
Now, I just finished a part where the main character (not releasing names yet) had raided a compound only to be apprehended. He wakes up to find his armor and weapons gone and him and his squad tied up, half of the already dead. Aaaaand...Im stuck now. Help? -

@Eva Sweet. Weapon of choice?
Plasma rifle: A heavier version of the arc rifle that fires heated bolts of plasma in rapid succession.
Clip size; 50
Arc rifle: A strong assault rifle that fires super-heated bullets in short bursts.
Clip size; 30
B-20: A small, sidearm that is very light weight and fires semi-explosive rounds.
Clip size; 30
Flachete shotgun: A mid size shotgun that fires slugs as well as sparks that may set the target on fire.
Clip size: 10
50 cal Sniper rifle: A heavy sniper rifle that fires explosive or incendiary rounds from up to 3 miles away.
Clip size: 20

Maybe you could have an alien posing as a human, just to see if the alien thinks humans are worthy or something...

@Alleria Pretty good idea. The "rebels" of the planets have hologram devices that can "shape-shift" then in a way. The rebels fight both the humans and the military of their planet.
