My older brother might come home from jail today. He's at court with my parents at the moment.
Sadly for me I'm not old enough to go into the courtroom. -

Yeah, he raps and tries to make a living out of it. He got in jail for domestic violence and violent threats to kill the family. So he went to jail for a month and now the judge is deciding weather he comes home, stays in jail, or goes to foster care. I'm so sad for him right now--I miss him and I want him to come home. He's been sending letters and he's proved he's changed. But now it's up to the court.

It makes me sad that it's even gotten this far, Jill. Even if we make a good argument, we only see what happens and what the judge says. We don't decide, the judge decides because it's against our will to choose.
